Rutting Buck

I looked out my front window at 1 pm and saw this brute across the road. He was heading towards my ground but my fenced in dogs saw him and were barking at him. He hesitated for a while then headed back the way he came. The rut has started! It normally happens just after Halloween. Right on schedule this year.
