Sounds like a SCI-FI story .... Quaded in 4 miles to a little hidden lake to do some ice fishing. Beautiful day only minus 2 with cloud cover and a bit of sun.
Ice was around 15 inches thick, punched a hole in and what a surprise as these insects came out from under the ice. Not 100% certain but I think these maybe
Boatman Insects. Over all a great day ... Would have been a really great day if a fish was caught ... Maybe next time ...
