This morning 9 deer went through my yard after daybreak . It has been rainy and foggy the last 2days so visibility is limited . These 3 are about 50 yards from the kitchen window The largest doe is likely with her 2 young of the year .And she appears to be looking right at the kitchen window .My guess is she saw movement and is now on full alert for any reason to scramble for a place to hid . A doe with fawns that has survived several hunting seasons ,crossing roads and a growing number of coyotes seldom. misses anything that is happening around her If she senses any danger nearby they are quick to go leaping and bounding off heading towards some place with thick cover .The hardest deer to fool in the woods is a doe with it's young They are the eyes ears nose and high alert warning sigh that they need to take evasive moves

I have the same type situation here. They look at me and laugh however.
