Insert Key????

I thought this was maybe a tool for cleaning torch tips until I cleaned it up a bit. I have no clue what it is or is for. The little key looking thingie has etched writing that says "Insert Key". Anyone have any idea? TIA, HH

Schick Injector Razor blade dispenser, c. 1930's and later. The dispenser came with a "key" to slide in the right side of razor head to "inject" a new blade.
