Insight to an issue

Running the Simplex this morning. Hit a signal, muted the machine while digging. Unmuted and it went crazy.
Random VID numbers as fast as possible combined with every tone the machine can make continuously. No rhyme or reason to any of it. I shut it off, waited and turned back on: same crazy display and sounds. I did a factory default reset. It seems ok now. Any ideas why it happened? Thanks

FYI: It happened again today. Hadn’t been on very long, wasn’t recently muted this time. Using it in Park 1 mode with no notching or balancing.
