Interesting coin...

I hit this coin yesterday.
quite heavy. Mostly copper, some aluminum and a bit of zinc.
A 10 Kronor worth about $1.60 U.S.

Neat find!! How many shark's teeth come up in your scoop since you are down there in Venice?? We are thinking of heading down to Casperson (sp?) Beach one of these weekends to take a look.

If your looking for sharks teeth, forget Casperson. Do you know where Manasota beach is? It is south of Casperson.

Manasota beach has the shells that the beaches north used to have. If you find large amounts of shells your chances of finding teeth are greatly improved.

One of these days I'll be able to knock over a bank and get gas money and hit Siesta.
I have a bunch of beach toys that I find in the early morning hunts. I think the little guy will work very hard at his job with them.LOL

Nice find Ralph, and you are right on the sharks teeth. The last few times I have hunted Casperson they weren't doing that good on the sharks teeth.

I met six divers a couple weeks ago when I stopped at the pier by sharkies and they had some nice ones....

FloridaBill, now that is what I call a shark's tooth.

I would REALLY hate to run into the owner in 4 feet or water detecting, I would barely be an horderve, and my detector a tooth pick.
