interesting 'excuse' from a fellow CRH to teller

so i hit a new area of banks today on lunch... .50 at one.... 4.50 at another.... 4 with none ... all losers

but the best thing i heard was this, "the lady who orders our coins can order you boxes if you'd like... we have another gentlemen who orders 2 boxes a week b/c him and his buddies use them as poker chips"


$4k of poker chips a month... all year round LOL

Yeah that is a common excuse for people buying halves to search through ... the first time that I heard it from a teller was a couple of weeks ago as I was hauling 1300.00 worth of halves out the door but I did managed to haul 10 or 12 keepers and some proofs out of them .... I think that some other rolls got mixed in w/ the dumps ....
