Hello everyone,

I dug this up out of a dry creek bed. Looks to be a screw of some sort, but too large to be used on home building. Anyone have any ideas as to what this was used for, has a little weight to it? Farm equipment maybe? I appreciate any ideas. Thank you :)

Idle adjusting screw from early farm equipment. My best guess.

I agree with idle mixture screw.

Me too .. needle valve off of a carburetor. Would have had a spring over the non-threaded area.

Looks like gas/air mixture needle but ONLY if its brass.

It looks kinda like the same type of head where you check the oil on a B&S engine.

Great suggestions! Thank you! I'll clean it up a bit and see if it's brass.
