Mr. Tuff, good eye, but I don't think i's a chair. I think it may be a plate of a side-board. Wish I had it in hand, it'd be easier to figure it out!

Is it a GA civil war plate? Look at the columns.

maybe take a rubbing of it with charcoal pencil and light paper the image maybe easier to see.
