I have a friend that periodically gets out and about, and he likes to get pictures.
Here is one that I believe is a sunset, but a really pretty one..

Just a place to post nice pictures 👍😁

This one is up Peralta canyon, just short of the lone pine trail ( lone pine is visible on the right horizon) where a good view of Weaver’s needle is at.

Well gosh,
I’m all out of neat looking senic photographs of the superstitions,
But I was at a family reunion out at the Oregon beach, and caught a nice sunset photo….. then the next day, I got another of the same View, but not sunset.
Kind of a cool contrast between the two photos.

This was pretty recent and fun with the sky opening above. I have literally photographed them hundreds of times and swear they never look the same. The optical illusion makes the whole range look like it moves closer or farther depending on the day.

AZGoldHunter,
When I was a kid I remember there were people that sometimes placed meaning in the cloud formations.
Some attributed aliens at times.
In the Bible there was divine influence/control for signs …, pillar of fire and such.
I can’t remember if one of those divine situations was with clouds or not.
I have wondered every so often ….. some formations are inspirational 🤷🏼‍♂️👍

My friend got out and about again over the weekend. Went out 88 to where the rest area by the road closure, 6 miles or so past Tortilla Flats.

Here is a zoomed in photo, to see Castle Dome.

Good morning T-net,
It’s been a while, and I don’t have any new photos of superstition skies, but a friend of mine sent me the photo below.

It’s a beautiful sunset photograph, taken at Discovery Park, in Gilbert AZ.
(Very close to the superstitions 🤓👍)
