"GEORGVIS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX
FID DEF IND IMP"?
The FID is only found on the penny and half penny.
I was half wrong in saying that it was from India.? It is a coin of Great Britain that was used in India... among other places.? Which means that it COULD be from India!? LOL?

? Ok, ok... enough of my splitting hairs!
Here is the exact ID that I was given for my coin.
"It is a bronze one penny coin from Great Britain. That's King George V on the obverse and Brittania on the reverse. Mintage was 50,820,997 in 1914."
Therefore, I have absolutely no excuse for my stupidity.

Please excuse me, I have to go see how gun metal tastes.
If you happen to be curious, the translation of the above means:? "George the Fifth (GEORGVIS V), by the Grace of God (DEI GRA), King of all the Britons (BRITT OMN REX), Defender of the Faith (FID DEF), Emperor of India (IND IMP)"
