Intresting bone find.

So, my son dug a spot down in a flood zone getting sand/gravel and came up with this bone.
I have never cleaned or harvested any thing that I remember having a bone like this. Don't think it is fosslized.

Any takers?

I believe it to be a hyoid bone, though I don't know which animal produced it.

Thanks Harry,,,,tried looking some different ones,,,,looks like that it is not a Human, or a Cat bone. Must still be a mystery.

Mike could be right . . . maybe it's a furcula (the fused clavicles of a bird). I couldn't find an image of a goose furcula, but maybe.
