I use to go to the shows when I lived in Missouri, these shows are really valuable to new artifact hunters to help them learn what to look for.

Can I take items to ask about?

The weather is supposed to cooperate, if so, I plan to attend this show. I’ll try to get some photos to share.

So do you think we will still be able to have showings with the new law?

I don't know about the Iowa, but I think it would be a safe bet that there would be representatives from our law enforcement agencies at the larger shows who are mingling with the public at larger shows like Collinsville, Owensboro, and Temple.

So you just have to be careful what is on your table? I have a show coming soon is why I’m asking

I would recommend not crossing the line in any manner.

As many have learned "ignorance of the law is not a defense."
Since many of us are not lawyers and up on all laws, the simple rule is just don't break any laws.

Associating with those that DO break the law can also land one in the tempest, so we have to have situational awareness of others. To the best of our ability.

Bottom line: the rule to follow is don't break the law.
