My niece took this pic of their windmill in Iowa. I thought it was worth sharing.

That is about the highest one I believe I've ever seen. What part of the Hawkeye State? All my family, but me, is scattered all over the state.

It's NE Iowa. It is VERY tall! The house and outbuildings sit down in a bowl-like area so the mill had to be tall to catch the wind. Doesn't pump water anymore but, at night, it's a little spooky listening to the creaks and groaning sounds it makes as the blades turn slowly in the breeze.
