I found this near an old plantation site. It is about 5 to 7 pounds in weight and 4 inches in diameter with a 1-1/2" hole in the center. It is solid iron with small hammer dings all over, I believe.
The location belonged to a gin wright, train master mechanic, and Civil War era wealthy plantation owner.
Any ideas?
