Like all my other unkowns, this is an Indian War era (or as late as the 20s-30s given the site) iron object that seems to be a piece or part from a toy gun, or... I don't know? Seems like part or half of a trigger-housing of some kind to me... but please look at it with fresh eyes!

I've been wondering about this piece for nearly a year. I am will take other pics if you think it may help.

Michelle... yea... or maybe an actual rifle? I'm hoping that one of these period weapons experts can confirm one way or another that is or is not from a weapon. I know I dig bullets and shells from tons of different weapons at this site, mostly 45-70.

Past that... Heck, who knows what it might be.

I'm updating a picture... more looks broken than I originally pointed out.

I think you have the mechanism from a toy cap rifle early 30' to 50's. that part would be in the base of the rifle near the trigger. Just a guess.
