Friend of mine and I got permission to hunt a guys 5 acre homestead in Zachary, La. Found a bunch of rail road spikes, no R/R in the vicinity, thoughts? The guy is selling the property, claims it's haunted. Well, turns out, not 10 feet from his bedroom window are two grave markers. The house was built around the 50s but this owner bought it about 10 years ago. My guess is that there was another house there long ago. The grave marker is marked 1815!! I've included a picture of one of the stones.

That would be a little too close for my comfort too. :o Maybe there was a RR going thru there at one time? Sounds like research time for that site. If I had to guess, I'd think there was an older house near that site, but not THAT close to the graves. :icon_scratch:
