Was out tonight and found this ring. It's stamped with 14k Pd. Did find some info on Pd, but not sure of its value. I'll have it checked out tomorrow, but kinda cant wait to know if its valuable. Its kinda heavy too.

I use an app called Blanchard Gold Prices to keep up with the precious metals, I know there are more out there that can break value down by the K

Have Not Found One Yet!!! Chug Let Us Know!!!

About $732 a ounce I use kitco

Pa is for palladium a precious metal element. That looks like a good one congrats:icon_thumleft:

Have you run it under a magnet?

I don't know what the Pd is for, but only gold uses the karat system of purity designation. Silver, Platinum, and Palladium are not marked with a karat number, and gleaner is right, Pa is the short term for Palladium, not Pd. An honest and qualified jeweler will tell you what you have.

Thanks guys. Looking at the periodic table of elements, Pd is palladium and Pa is protactinium. But I will be stopping by a jeweler today to get the official word. Thans again.

I think palladium is often plated over silver rings to give it more of a shine.

My guess is a two tone 14k yellow gold and Palladium ring...NICE!

Found out its a James Avery ring. Retails for $850 on their website. Not bad for 30mins of swinging.

Thanks for the update............

i believe that the ring might be silver and plated in 14K

Looks like the 14k might be the insert.
