Nice find and can't wait to see some pictures mtdewman. Thanks for sharing...

Oh yeah a 1735 Spanish silver is always a great find! And the key date wheat! What a great day!

I'd say its good. My oldest Spanish silver is an 1820 Half Reale.

No that's an absolutely horrible find!

i found one today, once i find my digital camera i will post pic, and this might be hard to believe but a foot away from it was a 1914 D wheat penny. i wonder if i will ever have a day as good as this.

Nice finds! That's a $200 penny.

Your Spanish (Mexico City coin) looks like a 1/2R but I don't see the date as being 1735.
You may wish to take another look to verify the date.
Why? Because if the date is actually 1732, you have a coin that may be at least 20X more valuable.
Don.......

I looked at with a mag glass and it matches a picture of a reale i seen on internet. The 5 is different and it matches internet pic

Both are excellent finds. I too have a 1914d i found but it is in horrible shape and not worth anything. I'm pulling for your silver to be 1732 !

Sent from my iPhone using TreasureNet

Nice finds Mt Dew !!! You should make that reale your member photo.

i love the feeling of digging a nice old coin and not knowing its value till you get home... once youve been there, your hooked for life.
