All together now - whats wrong, guys? Sorry, that's not fair of me - it just gets a little frustrating.

I see you are working quartz veins on your property. First, the pics do not look like gold, but the camera can throw off
the eyes. Second, you need to rough up your pan, "season it", by rubbing hard with sand or sandpaper until the mold release oil
disappears - you can tell its seasoned when water stops beading. Its odd that after six hours of panning, you still have beading?
Or maybe you used a "new" pan just for the pics.

If you have not already been advised to, suggest you crush the samples of quartz to at least salt grain size, then pan and post
additional pics - good luck!

Thanks Fulpan

Yes used new pan to post pictures and pics look different than real thing in the pan, sorry about that, and yes I will work on the new pan. I am still digging quartz too. Been using classification pans and bucket in small creek. Think camera flash caused picture to not look right. Just getting started. Thanks.

My rule of thumb for what it's worth. If you're not sure it's gold.,good chance it's not. Once you find it, you will never mistake it again.
