Is my powder horn real pics added ?????????

OK first off I apologize for not having a pic up yet my camera is on the fritz i bought a powder horn at a garage sale for $2.50 not sure if it's real or not any tell tell signs of a fake ? it has some good wear patterns on it and the nails look old. I'll have pics up soon Thanks in advance .

Yes it is real and it looks old. I have a large one and a small one. Many of the real old ones will be engraved. Some from the cw have the dates of the battle and places on them. Interesting items. Nice find.

It is real but how old is anyones guess. Blackpowder guys go to great lengths to make their gear look as original as possible. I used old original nails to assemble mine.
