Hi everyone,
I have been reading threads in other forums and once in a while I see some hinting of a redesign on the BH line. Does anyone know anything about this? All I have actually seen from them is the renaming, updating, and deletion of existing models. Given that First Texas has their hands in multiple companies now, it seems probable that they would want to apply the technology in other brands to the BH line. Personally, I'd like to see the end of the 'muffler on a stick' look. Maybe something a little less conspicuous would be nice. So, has anyone heard anything?

Cabelas sells Teknetics twins under the Bounty Hunter brand.

I don't know about the muffler part, but the Tracker IV that I purchased in December 2009 is mounted on a Teknetics S rod. It even has a place for an arm support strap.

I took a look at Cabela's website, and now I am enlightened! The Titanium and Gold series say BH on them, but are obviously Teknetics machines. The Adventurer 5500 and Discovery series were kind of what I was thinking of in a redesign. The control box housings are smaller and more shapely than the old BH's. I read on T-net once someone calling Bounty Hunters mufflers on a stick and it just stuck with me. The box on my Land Star looks just like a muffler on an old truck. Well guys.... I guess the rumors are true then. Thanks for the heads up!
