Is this a celt?

I found this today while metal detecting and old field. In the past I've found a knife, a few scrapers and points in this field, so I know there are artifacts here. Unfortunately, part of the tip is broken, but you can see where the tip is bevelded, and polished. Thanks for any input you might have.

That is a celt 100% sure of it. Nice find and thanks for posting, it's a good find and you will find more artifacts there also.

Thank you for your reply and positive ID. One of my oldest friend is Native American, and I give all the artifacts I find to him. He not only collects himself, but documents where the artifacts were found and keeps a pretty good record on all of them. I'm sure he will appreciate this piece also.
