Is this a coin?????

Could you please put my mind at ease and answer one little question. Is this a possible hammered coin? I see a bust of a person and what looks to be letters along the edge. But i am placing it before you to see if i am nuts or that you see the same as me. But it also could be just a freak coincidence. Thanks for all your comments.

Hmmm...it's hammered, alright...not sure if it's a coin but show us the other side, as rock3434 suggested..might give us more to go on...Ddf.

I enlarged & rotated it to be more upright as I see a side view profile bust. It looks like it could have possibly been double struck in the profile area.
I'm posting two pictures. One is untouched and the other has my thoughts as to what we are looking at. Interested to read how others see it.
Very cool & interesting find.
