Is this a Colonial era Flat Button?

Not sure exactly what date it is. Flip side is slightly concave with No Markings. Colonial settlers were in this region. It was near a stream, which I will be returning to to sweep over more territory.

Aha, thanks for the Info and all the replies. I have to hit that area harder. I also found a Horseshoe at this same site. Think it's around the same time period or just too hard to tell? I read they are very hard to date.

I am going with tombac as well. congrats on getting into colonial period
