I found this thin oval silver item today. It's definitely silver cause it rang up in the 70's (which is quite high for such a small item) and it's quite heavy for it's small size. I think that it may be a cufflink. It is 19 x 14 mm wide and roughly a quarter mm thick, it's very thin. Judging by the initials 'E.M.'s font it may be quite old, I would personally think it's atleast late 1800's, it may even date back to the early 1700's in my opinion. The back appears to have a mark that I believe a shank has been attached to and if so it must of been a cufflink. I don't really know for sure how old it is and if it even is a cuffllink for sure, so if you have any suggestion, idea, thought or if you know anything about it please let me know.
