Can you tell what, if anything , it says on the back... the backmark?

I don't think it's CW... and may not be military, but a sport coat button... Still looking though. It does very closely resemble a pre-1840 british navy button.

I only think that because the rope comes over the anchor all wrong.

Anyone else wanna weigh in? Please... ?
