is this a gemstone

HI everyone . can you tell if this stone can be a gemstone?
here is the pictures . I tried to scratch it with metal saw but not scratched.

does it have chatoyancy (shimmer effect in light)? If so it is probably moonstone.

Otherwise it is probably a quartzite, small possibility of it being a type of feldspar I'm not aware of. Pretty sure you have a water-rounded chunk of quartzite.

yes it has some chatoyancy.
so for now we cay say the most hope will be moonstone??
how can I make sure of it?
if yes, how much the price for the moonstone?
