I would call the bomb squad in case it is live. Some kid may mess with it and blow themselves up.

Yes, that is a grenade. I agree best to call the bomb squad and let them determine if it's real or a dummy. If it's real, it's missing the fuse assembly, which might mean it has been disarmed -- or it might also mean that the fuse is damaged and it's still live and potentially unstable. Better safe than sorry, better call the experts.

Not sure if it identifies as a real grenade or not, but based on pictures, it has the opportunity. Agree with others…Treat it as real until you learn otherwise.
