Is this a late 17th century /early 18th century candle style Hurricane Lamp base?

Well its certainly a lamp base by initial look.... super cool and sorta rare find for the beach.

Would have loved to find that myself.

Its design is not of normal "standard" quality... yours seems to have some "beef" to it which to me makes it very cool.
