✅ SOLVED Is this a lighter or some sort of torch?

I found this today near a lake where I find lots of old and modern stuff. I've never seen anything like this before. The front and back have a beautiful floral design which looks hand made and the top appears to me like possibly fire would come out. The "arm" swings freely. I think its made out of all brass. Thanks for your help as always.

Is the brass "arm" hollow all the way into the "bowl" on top? If so, it is probably a fancy MJ pipe.

Ahhh, yes the arm is hollow and goes into the square "Tank" part. Hmmm, you might be correct. Thanks!

I sure will clean it up. Any tips on cleaning brass? I made the mistake of cleaning a brass Zippo lighter with lemon juice and it came out pink.

Looks like an old brass opium pipe. I've never seen one with a folding stem before though. Cool. Could just be a vintage brass water pipe for weed though. From the 60's/early 70's or something.

Pot pipe would be my guess. Ive found more than a few in the desert. Never seen one like that though.

Cool find I found a opium pipe with Chinese drawings on it from the 1900s looks similar scrape that sucker and ALL ABOARD!!!!! Nice find...

Use some Brasso or Never Dull; should shine that thing up just right.

Comes from years of working narcs... The way the box is constructed, it may be filtered or have had water in it to cool the smoke...?

Yeah, that will shine up nicely. Someone sat by the lake, toking on that, and was so stoned, they wandered off and left it. In this great state of South Carolina, they could write you a ticket, and confiscate it for possession of paraphernalia. Nice find.
