Is this a Stone Spear Point?

Can anybody tell me if this is what I think it is? Or is it just a rock that happens to look like a spear point. If it is real, any guess on how old it might be? I found it this afternoon on a Lake Ontario beach. Geographically, I'm located directly across the lake from Rochester, NY. on the Canadian side.
