its copper, found in a yard, the area used to be a horse farm long long ago,the house was built in 1949. its copper and threaded.

Looks like a tip from a soldering/woodburning kit.
 
Thats exactly what it is my granfather had about 20 of these and we did in fact try to use them for arrow heads and got into a load of trouble and had to find every single one of them. Took 2 full days. And found out they were for a solder iron LOL lesson learned.
