Is this Arrowhead genuine?

Is there any way to tell if this is a genuine Indian arrowhead? I have an extremely sentimental attachment to it, so real or not it's priceless ... Just curious. My grandfather told me it was real.... But I was a kid when he told me that. It would have been found in PA.

Really hard to tell but if your grandfather had it years ago then the chances are that it is real. There are a lot of "fakes" out there now that can fool even some experts. The folks that make them now are called knappers and are really good.

It's real but should probably be posted in what is it or general discussion since this was not found recently.

If you post it in the North American Artifacts forum they can help you out. There are some pretty sharp people over there.

I know the ones you're referring to & these are similar now that I took a closer look. I had some as a kid that were fridge magnets. Hard to tell without seeing in person.

It looks real to me and also you're grandfather said it was so that's good enough for me.I've made arrowheads and spear points to bird tips and drills and a little of everything else before and its hard for most of people to tell the difference between them and the ones I've found.I'd defiantly say that's the real deal there and a very nice one.

Exactly, I'm no expert but agree with Kuger.
