I saw this while CRHing today, I've been looking through every coin I can get my hands on Like the title says, "Is this common?" There are some other dimes in there to show differences but the '79-D is what I am talking about, it's the one in the first two images. The "D" seems to be filled in.. probably dirt or just an overused die, but I came here first to ask you guys P.S. No silver so far today.

I would personally say yes... and even if it is, it wont be worth much.

Yes, it's common to have filled mint-marks like that, and they carry no premium.
