Is this gold?

When I was cleaning out my mats in my high banker at the end of the day today I found this. Is it gold? The edges look too sharp to me for it to be gold.

looks like gold. when you find sharp edges ,it hasn't traveled far from the source.

Just press on it with a knife-ifn' it don't crack,crumble or go crunch ya are on the right track. Used to be just use a magnet but seen too much gold lately with magnetic matrix included so that one is out on some gold species-John

I pusher on it really hard and it broke into 2 pieces. Does this mean it's not the real deal?

Yep no go. Sure looked like gold but gold doesnt break ever.

Well I'm not throwing it away until I find out for sure lol. Of it is the real deal, it's the biggest piece iv found yet.

I think the flake broke in half . still looks like gold to me .
