Is this gold?

I am wondering if this is gold. It passes a streak test. Also, I have a piece that might be silver which also passes the streak test.

I wouldn’t throw it away...most likely there is gold content in there to be had, but its tied up and attached to other minerals that makes it difficult to profit from. Best as a specimen.

There may be gold in them there hills. But from what I can see those stones are a part of a bigger picture. Nice find

You will know gold when you do find it.There could be trace amounts in what you have but it would need to be crushed and panned to get them out.

I'm afraid I'm gonna give the same answer most here have. Probably gold in it but it doesn't look like gold to me. Looks almost like some kind of mica. It still may contain trace amounts of gold but I think it's going in the cool rock category.

It is a cool rock though

Soak in some driveway acid for a week. Or crush and pan like I do.

Just asking did anyone run a pinpoint falcon metal detector over the rock? Any positive hits?
May have to crush and pan to find values.
