Near Vancouver Canada found this rock 35 lbs of it does anyone know what it is thank you
is this jade or just quartz

By appearance it looks like quartzite, and has been fairly metamorphosed to have some banding/laminations and slight translucence to light.
On occasions I've seen gypsum like this, the alabaster type.
A quick check difference is that gypsum can be easily scraped by a fingernail but quartzite is harder than glass and will scratch glass.
