Not that old, but it probably is jade or powdered jade cast similar to the way they are doing native American turq. jewelry. I would say 50's to 60's vintage.

I don't know if it means anything, but most everything in that warehouse were I found this was old, averaging from about 1910. I was able to obtain some items and Stanley tools that I am selling on e-Bay now. After I took what I wanted and after numerous garage sales and flea markets he sold the remainding items for $5000. It was quite a find!(the warehouse) There were however a few items from the 50's and 60's mixed in.
I wish I had taken more items, but was busy at the time. :'(

My old woman loves jade, and I have become some kind of jade expert of sorts lately. It looks to be the real deal article. Jade comes in many different shades, and the one you have there is actually a relatively common shade... Not saying that its not worth anything, its just not rare to see the grey-blue-green shades.
I think you have the real deal, and you can fetch a decent little penny for it, especially if it turns up to be as old as you think.
