Is this marble something?

I found this marble at a site that was producing mid 1800's stuff with the metal detector.
I know nothing about marbles at all and I would love to know more about this one and how you are coming to your conclusions so I know more next time.

By the way I have not cleaned it, not even under running water.

All I can see is that it has no pontil and it has tiny air bubbles throughout. What can help you more with an ID in regards to pics?

you could try to put it in a bowl of water....shoot straight down.....if you use macro....dont use flash brighten it up in your photo shop......

nice pic...it looks like a ravenswood swirl....the water difusses all the light...it makes hard to photo marbles show up....

yup takin pics is a hard thing.......ive taken many pics just to get one useable picture...theres all kinds of techniques and the main thing is the quality of the camera.....my best method id trial and error..mostly error
