This rock was found at a known native site where soap stone was quarried it just seems odd the right angles seem to be worked and does not seem like a natural break. Or I'm just crazy lol. Thanks in advance for the help

What is the material? Is it the soapstone? It doesn't look natural, but that's not saying it isn't. There are plenty of natural wonders out there, believe me.

It is hard for me to say, the bottom last picture above, on the top left of the item, looks like it has some type of wear from something. From what i can not tell. Very interesting! Maybe someone else will have something to say about it.

I believe it is soap stone it's very curious it looks like it has been chiseled

....well....how would you explain (if it was cut) how it was cut to look like that, let alone why.....

I have know idea this is not my strong subject at all.

i suppose it could be the left over piece after some blanks were cut off......

Very interesting piece, I think it is natural, thanks for posting!!

Maybe something natural or could of been used by a farmer but it is not a Indian artifact. Post it in the "What page" and see if anyone knows there.

Thanks everyone regardless it will look neat in my garden.

?
