It's soft, it's about 1.2 inches in length, and has bold letters PD on the back, I would like to know if it is real and worth something.

look inside where the chain goes thru and see if there are any marks.

No marks, I've taken one of the "Diamonds" out and ran a couple of non professional tests such as heating it to find if it is shatter proof, dropping it in water, went to the bottom almost immediately.

After looking at your pic closely I suspect this is plated. Is the brown spot I circled dirt?

I checked out PD and there are a few different thoughts on posts about rings with that mark some say it means Palladium and some say it is a company called Premier Designs no one has given a definitive answer.Palladium unless colored with another metal would be silvery-white and yours appears to have a golden luster so maybe the premier designs company made yours.
