Highly doubtful. Anyone who autographs items uses a contrasting color for dark items. Sticks and pucks are usually signed with silver colored Sharpie or paint pen. I grew up playing hockey in St. Louis and I can't recall one of us who didn't have a self-penned Brett Hull, Al MacInnis, Wayne Gretzky or Curtis Joseph and Grant Fuhr autograph signature on their stick at some point.
