Found in a coin purse of old spanish coins and other various old unidentified coins. 20191026_152308.webp20191026_152302.webp

Hey,
What size is it? What material is it? How thick is it? I did a color contrast pic to see if that would help define the lines.

This one's easy....for us old timers. It's a Spanish Maravedis, a low denomination copper coin. They were used mainly in the 16th to early 19th centuries, which is a long time. The Spanish lion is on one side, and the castle on the other. Lots were dated but I see no date on yours. Did you dig it?

No, a friend left me a coin purse with this and 20 or so Spanish era and other coins. I'm working on posting the other weird ones.

You can find similar ones on Ebay - look for the word "maravedis". You might find a look alike to date it.
