Is this something... or just a rock.

Looking for bottles along a creek, downstream from where others have found arrowheads.
This stuck out among the other rocks due to it's appearance and smooth texture.
Google lens says either a grinding stone or just a neat rock.
Still looking for that elusive first native artifact.
Thanks for your expertise.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that it is a tanning stone used for making hides soft and smooth. But if it was totally different than any of the other rocks along the creek bed, then I would come to that conclusion. I think I see a few perdiot crystals in the first photo.

I’d lean towards you having something native but sure is borderline. I’ve only found a tiny bit of groundstone stuff so I’m not the most confident
