Is this trash or treasure?

I found this today about 6-7 inches down and i'm pretty sure it's brass. Any ideas of what it could be?

I think the 1st item might be part of an old fish hook. The Metal things might look like some of my metal finds May 14-15-2013.

Nice! Assuming the reverse is just as nice, that at least a $200 dime. I'd be back hunting that site and to heck with the copper strap!

I took it to a local coin shop and the owner asked if he could buy it for $450. I told him no. It was found in my back yard and I have searched relentlessly for more.
