sometimes called a collet wrench.

Also used to adjust spring tension on motorcycle shock absorbers. Most common use. Any dirt bikers near by?

Brings back memories when I used a spanner wrench on a metal lathe in high school close to 40 years ago. Great find.

Yep, you got it. They also use spanner wenches to tighten and loosen commercial lock sets, ie door knobs.

Hi Friends,

I found this in a yard. It's not a bottle opener (I tried, it doesn't fit).

Could it be an adjustment wrench for a yard working tool, or maybe for a toy, or a skates?

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks!

Back in the early 60s Sears sold a 410 bolt action shot gun with screw on chokes, it had a small wrench, it looks about the right size for that. I still have mine, my first gun..Loco
