Years back I Dowsed a Silver signal from shore 8 miles away, to S Manitou Island. I didnt get any Gold, nor Meteorite, and I assume Spanish coins. I took the ferry spent a day hiking 11 miles, ran out of time and water and missed the ferry back. I'm not sure if I'll try to get to it again. I dowsed it to the left side of the island about midway or little further N on the island, not out in water. Up on the bluff.. Do you guys get any specifics? Quantity, or is it Silver coins, or Silverware hid from the Chicago fire..

Thanks. Yes I made it over to that, W side chasing the signal, headed N along the shore. I lost an hour because my watch changed time zones without me realizing it. The signal wasn't great, I tried to cut back thru the island without a compass. Bad idea! The island was a lot tougher than its pic. They have tents and food left behind from past hikers, it ended ok. I might head back some day, but I say that to all my treasures. If it was Spanish Silver coins, what's the rules on that? Up for grabs...
