Issues with the shaft locks on D2

Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has had their lower (coil) rods slipping through their shaft locks on their Deus 2? If so is there a trick to know to tighten them up a tad or will XP have to replace it to make it right?

I've been bit when flipping it open-learnt quick not to place the finger against the lower side. Newer machine and I haven't had an issue as of yet.
I'm sure they'll go good with new locks as the part is a warranty item.

To help make them last longer, try not to leave them locked with pressure on them when not using the detector. I have tried to remember that each time I quit using my D1 and the locks still hold after 7-8 years.

Thanks guys. This is the 2nd issue/complaint I have with this machine. Otherwise it is a very neat unit.
