Went to 2 banks today. At bank 1, I asked for $70 in dimes and $20 in nickels, and the teller said she only had $20 in dimes and $10 in nickels, so I took them. At bank 2, got $80 in dimes and $20 in nickels. All rolls at both banks were CWR.

When I got home, I opened the rolls from bank 1 first, and I couldn't believe it - one of the rolls was solid silver (nearly). It had 47 silver FDR and 3 clad. One of the other rolls from bank 1 had 13 silver FDR and the rest clad (bottom picture - the silver coins are on the left side). All the other coins from both banks were skunks.

So all in 60 silver FDR dimes. These are mostly toned and dirty as you can see in the picture. A lot of them are from the 1940s and 1950s rather than the 1960s.

Second time in a month an a half that I got a solid silver dime roll (post from 10/28). Third time this year (prior post from June 2023).

Time to go play powerball, I guess.

Thanks for looking

Well you got a nice roll again, nothing beats the look of dirty silver.
I often wonder how a whole roll ends up at the bank.
Thinking maybe from estates the family not knowing that the $5.00 roll was a $85 roll.

Congratulations on a Wonderful score!

nice.

Not often that occurs in my area.

Congratulations.
